The winter of our discontent.

It's hard but I'm trying not to see the word 'Lost' everywhere I look. I will not resist until next summer to see the new season! :(

Also, I'm a bit depressed, today, I really wanted to go to see Ben Lee's concert...Oh, well.

I had a lot of things to do this week (go looking for a job again, buy a pair of trousers I can fit myself in and new boots, that's most urgent) but haven't done anything. I'm lazy and the whole weekend is La Mercè festivity in Barcelona so I can't go shopping there.

I love Queen Margaret's character. She is actually the only one who sees how evil Ricahard is, really, all the other characters ARE complete fools. They almost deserve what Gloster plans for them.

1. cabbage patch kids:
   Some of my favourite dolls ever. All different, with those funny faces...They are really cute! Even though the story of their creator and the cabbages it's a bit....erm...scary.
2. devdas:
   Huzzah! Bollywood! This movie has great songs, and it's a color blast. Pretty good example of an indian super production. Absolutely gorgeous.
3. freaks and geeks:
   Buaaaaaa! I only saw two episodes of it. On T5 at 6 a.m., one weekend. Two episodes and I was already hooked. The next week, when I turned the TV on they were airing some action show with a guy full of muscles. :(
   I waaaaaant Freaks and Geeks! I was great and funny. Eighties high-school seen from 15 years later...
4. jane eyre:
   Very good novel. Classic. Good story with some gorgeous passages. And features wild Mr. Rochester (:P). I'm specially fond of the first chapters where Charlotte Brontë explained Jane Eyre's childhood (based on her own early years) and also love the part where Jane runs off from Mr. Rochester.
5. mary reilly:
   This is one of these movies I have seen like a hundred times because I loved it when I was a teen. It's dark, it's intriguing and has a morbid feeling about it that I love. And the actors are quite well (yes, I'm praising Julia Roberts, weird!), specially John Malkovich in his double interpretation of Jekyll and Hyde. Also, I find the relationship Dr.Jekyll/Mary Reilly/Mr.Hyde quite hot (and sick, also, but that's ok)
6. oldies:
   Music I like (not The Beatles, though, I can't stand them). Don't ask me things about music, I'm the music moron.
7. remus lupin:
   Dearest Remus. Tortured soul + cute guy + werewolf. He didn't have any flaws until J.K. Rowling involved him romantically with Tonks.
8. stephen rea:
   Great Irish actor. And he is really very sexy, also. Irresistible combination.
9. tim burton:
   He can mess with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory everything he wants to, I'll always admire him for his older movies and for his imaginery.
10. wuthering heights:
    What's with the Brontës and this meme? Well Wuthering Heights is passion. I remember the novel as a beautiful nightmare. Also, I love Kate Bush song ;)
